The RV-3049-C3 is supplied on tape and reel. 1k or 3k pcs per reel are the standard T&R pack sizes for this product. Partial quantities may be supplied on tape (no reel), or in bulk.

Product Description

The RV-3049-C3 is no longer recommended for new designs but is suitable as a drop in replacement. For new designs please consider the RV-3149-C3 which features an updated package with identical footprint.

The RV-3049-C3 miniature real time clock module has a wealth of features in addition to the standard 24 hour clock and leap-year flag functionality calendar. Smart temperature compensation ensures tight stability of ±8ppm (equivalent to 0.7s per day) over the widest available temperature range of -40 to +125ºC, and only ±6ppm (equivalent to 0.56s per day) over more narrow ranges. The RV-3049-C3 also includes backup battery input with switchover functionality, programmable trickle charge circuitry, an integrated temperature sensor with digital output, and 8 bytes user RAM and 2 bytes EEPROM. Good shock and vibration resistance and optional AEC-Q200 qualification (with full PPAP documentation) make the RV-3049-C3 a versatile component suitable for a wide range of uses.

In order to align ourselves with industry-standard nomenclature the name of this product has been revised from RV3049C3 to RV-3049-C3. There have been no changes to form, fit or function of the component. You can find more information in our product change notice PCN19032005321 here.

In addition to providing excellent frequency stability this real time clock module is also one of the lowest power temperature compensated RTC modules with back up power requirement of only 240nA with automotive grade options available. This product was previously named RV8803C7.
