Product Description

Ideal for engineers seeking an all-in-one solution with 4-wire SPI bus interface, the RV3049C3 miniature real time clock module features a wealth of features in addition to the standard 24 hour clock and leap-year flag functionality calendar. Smart temperature compensation ensures tight stability of ±8ppm (equivalent to 0.7s per day) over the widest available temperature range of -40 to +125ºC, and only ±6ppm (equivalent to 0.56s per day) over more narrow ranges. The RV3049C3 also includes backup battery input with switchover functionality, programmable trickle charge circuitry, an integrated temperature sensor with digital output, and 8 bytes user RAM and 2 bytes EEPROM. Good shock and vibration resistance and optional AEC-Q200 qualification (with full PPAP documentation) make the RV3049C3 a versatile component suitable for a wide range of uses.
