The RV-2123-C2 is supplied on tape and reel. 1k or 5k pcs per reel are the standard T&R pack sizes for this product. Partial quantities may be supplied on tape (no reel), or in bulk.

Product Description

Ideal for designs that require SPI bus interface and low power consumption the RV-2123-C2 real time clock module provides great timing functionality including calendar functions with built-in leap-year functionality, clock functions and programmable alarm functionality.

This miniature surface mount RTC has excellent power consumption of only 130nA typical in time-keeping mode, rising to only 30uA whilst in access mode. Additionally time-keeping mode is also available at low supply voltages down to 1.1V. A robust component, the RV-2123-C2 also features excellent shock and vibration resistance and is optionally available with AEC-Q200 qualification (with full PPAP documentation available on request).

In order to align ourselves with industry-standard nomenclature the name of this product has been revised from RV2123C2 to RV-2123-C2. There have been no changes to form, fit or function of the component. You can find more information in our product change notice PCN19032005321 here.

In addition to providing excellent frequency stability this real time clock module is also one of the lowest power temperature compensated RTC modules with back up power requirement of only 240nA with automotive grade options available. With ultra-low current consumption of only 17nA the RV-1805-C3 boasts the lowest power consumption of our entire range of real time clock modules. This RTC with miniature 3.7 x 2.5mm package and I2C bus interface offers excellent stability for an uncompensated part and incorporates many additional functions including alarm, timer, user RAM and trickle charge.  This product was previously named RV1805C3. The RV-1805-C3 is no longer recommended for new designs, please consider the RV-3028-C7 as a low power solution for new projects.
