Product Description

The RV-1805-C3 is no longer recommended for new designs, please consider the RV-3028-C7 as a low power solution for new projects. The RV-1805-C3 uncompensated real time clock features power saving mode for superbly low current consumption of only 17nA, ideal for designs where current consumption is paramount in your timing solution.

The RV-1805-C3 with I2C bus interface doesn't compromise on small size either, with an ultra-miniature footprint of only 3.7 x 2.5mm this component leaves lots of room for design layout. The RV-1805-C3 is feature-packed and includes a host of additional functionality, including programmable alarm, timer and interrupt functions, and has power management, trickle charge circuitry, switch functionality and 256 bytes of user RAM built in. The factory calibrated clock also produces timing stability of ±2ppm at 25ºC, equivalent to only 0.17s/day variation.

In order to align ourselves with industry-standard nomenclature the name of this product has been revised from RV1805C3 to RV-1805-C3. There have been no changes to form, fit or function of the component. You can find more information in our product change notice PCN19032005321 here.

In addition to providing excellent frequency stability this real time clock module is also one of the lowest power temperature compensated RTC modules with back up power requirement of only 240nA with automotive grade options available. This product was previously named RV8803C7.
