Information on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS2) Directive

The European Parliament has approved the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS 2) Directive (2015/863/EU).

The directive states that the targeted materials shall no longer be contained in electronic products above certain limits unless there is an exemption provided in the rule.

Products meeting the stipulations of the directive are commonly referred to as "Pb-free", however as the directive includes other hazardous materials in addition to lead, it is possible for a device to be lead-free but still fail to be RoHS 2 compliant.

Pb-free definition

Component and Assembly Pb content shall be less than 0.1% by weight of the device (in accordance with IPC/EIA J-STD-006) and shall not be intentionally introduced.

Our REACH declaration confirms our dedication to the REACH regulation directive and states that Golledge products do not contain any of the substances of very high concern (SVHC) above the regulatory threshold of 0.1% w/w. Our full candidate list of substances can be found at http://echa.europa.eu/candidate-list-table.

Conflict Minerals

In uncertain times it is more important than ever to ensure we in the business community support human rights efforts throughout the world. That's why we review our Conflict Minerals declaration annually to ensure we will never fuel human rights abuses through the purchase of conflict minerals. Our conflict minerals declaration outlines the processes we undertake to ensure our products never knowingly contain conflict minerals.

Counterfeit Policy

Component counterfeiting is global problem that can lead in its worst case to failure in the field scenarios. We take every measure we can to make sure our customers are always protected by maintaining full tracability, ensuring robust supply procedures, strong official distributor relationships and strictly controlled supply processes. If you are in any doubt about the legitimacy of a Golledge product you have been supplied through a third-party please get in touch at sales@golledge.com

We are also keenly aware of the responsibility we hold as suppliers to the electronics industry. To this end due to ethical considerations we do not knowingly supply products for use in the production of nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction.

Anti-Bribery Policy

We are proud of our transparent business practices and take care to ensure we are fair and ethical in everything that we do. We have a zero tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption and are committed to acting with integrity throughout all of our business relationships and dealings.

We take our business responsibility to our environment seriously and run an environmental management system acredited to ISO14001.
